The major fuel imports had a strong increase of 133.3% in the first eight months of 2011

The production of the main fuels in the first eight months of 2011 showed a slight increase of 1.2% over the same period 201. The special gasoline rose 13.2% in production, while aeronaftas fell 8.5%. In parallel, there was a slight decline in gas oil 2.7%, and another strong regular gasoline with a fall of 29.8%. With regard to imports of oil, rose a significant 133.3%, reflecting increased activity in the agricultural sector by higher yields and the recovery in economic activity, with an installed capacity sufficient to absorb the local domestic demand, also by sector trade conflicts.
